Jointissue is a collaborative group that was formed in 2007. During this part of the performance, we chose to create a panel of the included artists in the show, addressing art issues and the focus of our show, the hidden narrative. Each artist took on a particular stereotype; we answered questions in character of our stereotypes and how this was relevant to our own practice. As artists we can tend to take ourselves very seriously, this piece was a chance to challenge seriousness, address "art speak", and reveal humor.
